Auth via API keys in the X-API-Key header. Rate limits enforced per tier. JSON responses, simple semver-based versioning.

Why we're waitlisting

An API is a long-term commitment - uptime, versioning, support. We'd rather build it once we know what shape it should be. The waitlist tells us where the demand is concentrated.
